Megan Kolb is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for the states of MA, NH, ME, and TX.  She is credentialed through the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She is the founder and owner of a mental health practice called the MK Wellness Collective. She is also a Certified Somatic Therapy Foundations Practitioner. Megan helps women find more calm in their bodies, clarity in their boundaries, and compassion for themselves. Together, Megan and her clients explore how the nervous system responds to stress, while strengthening their ability to communicate their needs and moving away from the constant pressure to do more, be more, and hold everything together.

So many approaches to anxiety and burnout focus on surface-level solutions or generic coping skills that don’t always translate into everyday life. If you’ve tried to manage your stress but still feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself, you may have started to wonder if you’re doing something wrong. You’re not. You deserve support that looks beyond your symptoms and considers the full picture of your life.

Megan's approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. Drawing from somatic therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, relational therapy, strength-based therapy, and the Gottman Method, Megan integrates evidence-based approaches to help you better understand yourself, navigate relationships, and build skills that support lasting change.

Your work together may include exploring how past experiences shape your present relationships, recognizing patterns that keep you feeling stuck, developing emotional regulation and distress-tolerance skills, and learning to recognize and respond to your body’s signals.  Together you will also work on strengthening boundaries, improving communication, and building a more compassionate relationship with yourself and the people you care about.

Your life is uniquely yours, and therapy should reflect that. Rather than adding another list of things you should be doing, Megan will help you focus on practical, meaningful changes that fit your circumstances, honor your capacity, and help you feel more supported in your everyday life.

Through your work together, you’ll build the skills, confidence, and self-trust to move beyond simply getting through each day and begin feeling more grounded, connected, and comfortable in your own skin even when life is busy, challenging, or imperfect.
