The Ray of Light Collective Mental Health Directory is a new resource designed to help individuals find licensed mental health professionals based on the state and location where they are seeking care. The directory will feature clinicians offering online and/or in-person services, making it easier for prospective clients to discover professionals who may be a good fit for their needs. The Mental Health Directory grew out of Ray of Light Wellness, an online mental health practice founded in 2017. Over the years, that vision expanded into the Ray of Light Collective, a broader wellness community bringing together mental health, creative arts, integrative approaches, and other avenues for healing and self-expression. Now, we are creating a dedicated space within the Collective to support mental health professionals and make it easier for potential clients to find them. Massachusetts Pilot Opportunity We are currently inviting 10 licensed independent clinical social workers (LICSWs) and licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs) in Massachusetts to participate in our initial directory pilot. Your first four months are completely FREE. This initial pilot will allow us to test the directory, evaluate how it supports visibility and potential client connections, and gather feedback from participating clinicians as we continue to develop the platform. Therapists from Ray of Light Wellness will also be featured in the directory, but these first 10 pilot spaces are specifically being offered to clinicians outside of our practice. Your Directory Profile Each clinician will receive a professional, client-friendly profile featuring: * Your professional bio and profile * Your practice information and areas of focus * Your state and location * A direct link to your professional website * A direct email connection for prospective clients We want these profiles to feel different from a traditional directory listing. Rather than simply displaying basic information, our goal is to create engaging, polished profiles that capture the attention of prospective clients while accurately representing your professional experience and approach. As part of the pilot, our team will review information you have publicly shared through your professional website and other professional profiles. Using our marketing expertise, we will develop a strong, engaging bio that highlights your experience, specialties, approach, and the qualities that may resonate with potential clients. There is very little work required on your end. Our team will handle the profile development for you. An Optional Second Four-Month Pilot After your initial four months, you will have the optional opportunity to participate in a second four-month pilot. There is no obligation to continue. You may end your participation after the initial four months if you choose. If you decide to continue, you will receive the features planned for our Community Tier at a special introductory rate of $15/month for your second four months, rather than the regular $30/month rate. The Community Tier will include: * Your professional directory profile * Direct connections to your professional email and website * Access to our therapist community * Opportunities to participate in Zoom meetings with other directory clinicians * Professional networking and referral discussions * Opportunities to discuss trainings, professional development, and private-practice ideas * Connections with clinicians in Massachusetts and, as the directory expands, other states * The option to offer complimentary 15-minute consultations directly through your profile Complimentary 15-Minute Consultations One of the features we are particularly interested in testing is the ability for prospective clients to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation directly through a clinician's directory profile. Participating clinicians will be able to provide available times for these brief introductory conversations. Prospective clients can select an available time, and the clinician will receive a notification when a consultation is scheduled. The second pilot will help us determine whether this feature creates meaningful connections between prospective clients and therapists. What Happens After the Pilot? Once the second four-month pilot is complete, you will have the opportunity to decide how you would like to continue. You may: Remain at the $15/month introductory rate for a basic directory profile Upgrade to the $30/month Community Tier for additional community and consultation features End your participation and request that your profile be removed As the directory grows, we also plan to introduce additional membership levels with increased visibility and promotional opportunities through the Ray of Light Collective's social media platforms and an upcoming podcast. We are also developing a higher-level membership that will combine directory and community features with one-on-one private-practice consulting, designed to support therapists interested in developing or growing their own online, insurance-based practices. More Than a Directory Our goal is for the Ray of Light Collective Mental Health Directory to become more than a place to list your practice. As we expand into additional states, we hope to create a professional community where clinicians can connect, exchange referral resources, share training opportunities, discuss private-practice ideas, and support one another. We are starting with a small group of Massachusetts clinicians because we want our first participants to have an opportunity to help shape what this directory and community ultimately become.
