Jerè Cabral

Mind & Bodhi, P.C.

Jerè Cabral provides therapy for children ages 6 and up, preteens, teens, adults, and older adults 65 and beyond. She works with individuals, couples, and families, recognizing that  each stage of life and each relationship brings its own unique experiences, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Jerè brings a warm, collaborative, honest, and authentic approach to therapy. She believes clients should be able to bring their whole selves into the therapeutic space without  judgment or the pressure to have everything figured out. Therapy can be a place to laugh, cry, ask difficult questions, sit with uncomfortable emotions, or simply be exactly where  you are.

Her experience and areas of focus include supporting clients who are navigating trauma,  anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral challenges, difficult life experiences,  emotional regulation, and relationship or family concerns. She is especially passionate  about helping people better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions,  bodies, and experiences.

Jerè believes that each person is the expert of their own life. Rather than telling clients who they should be or what they should do, she walks alongside them as they navigate their own journey of healing and self-discovery. With children and younger clients, she creates an environment where they can communicate and process emotions in developmentally appropriate ways. With teens and adults, she provides space to explore identity, relationships, life experiences, and the challenges that can come with different stages of life. Jeré often supports individuals whose lifestyles, beliefs, or experiences sit outside of traditional societal norms. If you are looking for a space where you are fully accepted, connected, and heard, you have found the right place. Jeré strives to work together with you to heal past trauma, process overwhelming emotions, and build a meaningful life that truly aligns with your inner self and core values. When working with couples and families, she helps create space for greater  understanding, communication, and connection.

Jerè recognizes that people are constantly evolving, and believes therapy should evolve  with them. There is no single path to healing and no one-size-fits-all approach. She uses  an eclectic, individualized approach, drawing from EMDR, somatic techniques, body  awareness, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), play therapy, and other therapeutic approaches  based on each client’s unique needs and goals.

At the heart of Jerè’s work is the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard,  respected, and supported. She recognizes the courage it can take to ask for help and wants  clients to know that they do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

Healing does not have to happen all at once. Sometimes it begins with simply taking the  next step—and Jerè is honored to walk alongside her clients, individuals and families  alike, as they take that journey toward greater self-understanding, connection, and  wellbeing.
