Anna Zweede is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who brings nearly two decades of clinical experience to her work with individuals navigating trauma, healing, and significant life transitions.
Throughout her career, Anna has been deeply committed to supporting people through some of their most difficult and vulnerable experiences. Prior to joining Ray of Light Wellness LLC as an online therapist, she spent more than a decade as the Director of a domestic violence and sexual assault treatment organization, where she provided leadership, advocacy, and compassionate support to survivors.
Anna believes that healing begins with having a space where you can feel safe enough to be honest about what you’re experiencing. She strives to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, understanding, and respect—one where clients can come as they are without fear of judgment. Her goal is to help you make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and develop the tools needed to move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.
Anna works with individuals experiencing trauma and PTSD, domestic violence and abuse, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, ADHD, chronic health challenges, self-esteem struggles, stress, and major life transitions. She understands that everyone’s story is different and believes therapy should be thoughtfully tailored to the person sitting in front of her.
Her clinical approach draws from evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and somatic approaches. As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider (CIMHP), Anna also embraces a whole-person perspective, recognizing that emotional well-being is connected to our relationships, physical health, environment, values, and sense of meaning.
Whether you are healing from something that happened recently or carrying the weight of experiences from long ago, Anna offers a compassionate place to slow down, feel heard, and begin creating a path forward. She believes that your experiences may be part of your story, but they do not have to define your future.
