Ali is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Texas, with more than a decade of experience supporting adults over the age of 18 and older adults. Her clinical specialties include anxiety and chronic stress, trauma and moral injury, grief and loss, caregiver stress, and major life transitions, including career changes, health-related challenges, and the evolving roles associated with aging and later life. She has a particular interest in working with veterans, first responders, active-duty service members, caregivers, and others who carry significant responsibility for those around them while navigating their own emotional challenges.

As an Air Force veteran and working mother, Ali understands the challenges of balancing responsibility with personal emotional needs. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, life-review work, strengths-based reflection, and practical coping strategies. Together, Ali and her clients work to process difficult experiences, manage stress, establish healthy boundaries, and build greater emotional clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

For those who are often the people others turn to when life gets hard, putting personal needs first can feel unfamiliar. They may be accustomed to showing up, solving problems, and moving forward, even when emotionally exhausted. Whether carrying the weight of past experiences, navigating a major life transition, or struggling to slow down after years of being the strong one, clients deserve a space where they can feel supported, understood, and cared for.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, especially for those who are used to handling challenges independently. There is no need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Ali welcomes the opportunity to get to know each client, hear her story, and explore how they might work together. After spending so much time showing up for others, clients deserve to make space for themselves, too.
