Service Description
Dreamwriting: The Unconscious and Creative Exploration This course invites participants to explore their dreams as rich creative landscapes for writing and self-discovery. Through guided prompts and reflective practices, we’ll work with images, emotions, symbols, and visitations from our dreams to generate poetry and other creative pieces, drawing inspiration from the settings, characters, and themes that emerge in our subconscious. We’ll also engage with light readings on dreamwork, the unconscious, and the poetry of dreams, using these texts as inspiration for both reflection and creative practice. Each session offers tools for recalling and interpreting dreams in an intuitive, non-prescriptive way, emphasizing personal meaning over fixed interpretation. Additional support for dreamwork will be introduced through gentle, accessible plant allies such as chamomile and mugwort, alongside grounding practices to support rest, reflection, and creative flow. Open to all levels, this class centers curiosity, imagination, and the belief that our dreams hold powerful insight and seeds for meaningful creative work. The course will split focus between generation of work, reflection, discussion, and exploration of craft. Course duration: Occurs weekly for six weeks. Each session is two hours. $350 for the full course.
